Good content, disappointing presentation

I recently bought the 'this is the way' series as a birthday gift for a friend's child. I was very excited to see the book since I have been waiting for ages to order from Chittam.
The books contents were decent but visually very unappealing. It's a small paper back book. This is the way' dance has just names of dance from each state. A line or two about the dance would increase the appeal of the book.

The photos are drawings (really good), which would look better on a lighter background and if the book size is bigger. The background is too dark, instead of bright. Not at all happy. And the most important feedback. My 6 year old child told me, "Amma, this book looks so boring!". She is a visual reader! So yes disappointed. Feels like a waste of money.
